What we collect

The only information we ask for is what you type into our trip request form. That includes your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the dates you are considering, how many anglers are in your party, cruise ship details if you are fishing on a port stop, and whatever notes you add about your trip.

We ask for those things for one reason: they are what we need to answer you properly. We do not ask for payment details through this website.

What we do with it

• Your request is emailed to us so we can reply with availability and a straight answer about your dates.
• A copy is saved on this website as a backup, so an inquiry does not get lost if an email goes astray.
• If you book, we use your details to organize your trip, which can mean sharing your name and party size with the dock and the processing crew who handle your catch.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question. If you ever want us to delete what you sent us, email us and we will.

This website

This site runs on WordPress with standard hosting. Like most websites, the host keeps basic server logs, and we may use website analytics to understand which pages people find useful. That kind of measurement looks at pages and visits, not at who you are personally.

Some pages link out to other sites, including the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Google. Once you follow a link off this site, that site’s own privacy practices apply, not ours.

Children

Kids are welcome on our boat, but this website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Trip requests should come from an adult in the party.
